Michael Zaslow Dead at 56
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Emmy Award-winning Michael Zaslow. Zaslow died Sunday night due to complications of ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Zaslow is survived by his wife, Susan Hufford, and daughters Helena and Marika. Zaslow was 56.

Disney, ABC plan 24-hour cable soap channe
Beginning early next year, the Walt Disney Co. will launch an all soap opera cable television channel. The decision to launch the channel comes only a few months after the company conducted tests of an all soaps channel in the Chicago and Houston area.
